Got this as a gift from a friend in Ohio telling me this is really good and I should check it out so let’s rock this show!

1. Sex Bob-ombs (Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett) vs. The Submission Squad (Pierre Abernathy & Evan Gelestico)

This was action packed from start to finish. The Bob-ombs definitely have a lot of chemistry with each other and compliment each other very well. Good tag team wrestling.
Grade: C+

2. The Duke vs. Jock Sampson

Not bad for two big men going at it with each other. It was solid until some outside interference took over the match. Definitely have to watch more of AIW to understand the feuds and everything but so  far so good I’m liking it.
Grade: C-

3. Colin Delaney vs. Facade vs. Marion Fontaine

Originally it was Delaney vs. Facade but Fontaine was inserted to the match. Props to Delaney for wearing a ECW t-shirt to bring some old memories. This one went all over the place with Fontaine & Delaney clearly have a lot of bad blood against each other. Everyone played their part well and didn’t leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth.
Grade: C

4. Pick Your Posion Match
Ricky Shane Page vs. Drake Younger

John Thorne & Ricky Shane Page get to pick each other’s opponents. Thorne picks the longest reigning CZW Heavyweight Champion, Drake Younger. They started fighting, then wrestling, then killing each other. A good mixture of styles that include strong style and hardcore. Page really impressed me and I’m determined to check out more of his stuff.

5. Elimination Match
Sugar Dunkerton vs. Alex Colon vs. Eric Ryan vs. Gary Jay

It kicked off like a tag team match with Colon & Jay formed some sort of alliance, same with Dunkerton & Ryan. Lots of double team moves performed by all four despite being opponents. Dunkerton pulled the highlight of the match with setting up a boombox playing  “Intergalactic” by the Beastie Boys, all to do a dance off which is worth the watch alone. It started ok and it died a slow death at the end.
Grade: C+

6. Pick Your Poison Match
John Thorne vs. Hailey Hatred

The second half of the pick your poison. Ricky Shane Page chooses female sensation Hailey Hatred, WOW! As I was informed they’re no strangers to each other and had ultra-violent wars in the past. I liked this pairing very much. They have chemistry and know how to work the crowd for the traditional pops and heat. It started slow but it picked off at the end.
Grade: C+

7. AIW Tag Team Championship
Youthanazia (Matt Cross & Josh Prohibition) (c)  vs. Irish Airborne (Jake & Dave Crist)

I’m familiar with all four pretty well so I had good expectations. Fortunately, it was pretty good with a lot of competitive spirit. Irish Airborne in my opinion are very underrated. They have great chemistry, they’re styles are suit for each other and the best of all, they’re brothers. They’re double team moves especially the double head kick & knee strikes were brutal. Prohibition is really good too with the intense striking and grappling.
Grade: B-

8. 30 Minute Iron Match
ACH vs. AR Fox

This one started explosive and it ended explosive. Both have similar styles so there lots of counters to the offensive which leads off to stalemates. I was blown away with the spots and the chain wrestling by these two guys. There’s definitely a bright future for them. I was familiar with AR Fox on Evolve & Dragon Gate USA but I never seen ACH and I was impressed. Half way through the match, the crowd were on their feet. Must Watch!
Grade: A-

9. Compton Street Fight
United Front (Johnny Gargano, Tim Donst & BJ Whitmer) vs. Flexor Industries (Chest Flexor, The Chad & Bobby Beverly)

The Front meant business instantly and went to war with all kinds of weapons. They went all over the building, literally. They even went to the parking lot and do some business there on a few vehicles. After watching BJ’s performance here and in other shows, he has to be the Comeback Wrestler of the Year. He’s definitely in the best shape of his life pulling a string of great matches with today’s young stallions. Everyone played their part extremely well.
Grade: B

In conclusion, this was a very good show that leaves a great taste in everyone’s mouths when you go and watch local pro wrestling. This reminds me a lot of the WWC here in Puerto Rico where it’s small in size but big in performance. I give a big round of applause to AIW in giving a good quality product. I’m definitely gonna check out more of AIW.

Verdict: 7.75/10
